Here at Burnley Leisure we are passionate about engaging youngsters in physical activity and sport. This special rate for those 13 and under gives them affordable monthly access to our wide range of facilities across Burnley.
Juniors 12 years or over can use the gym any time provided that they are accompanied by a parent/guardian.
The age requirement is 14 years old or over to use the gym unaccompanied. Time restrictions apply to under 16 years Monday to Thursday – see below for further details*.

Active Network – Get access to 17 other Leisure Centres included in your membership!*
If you have an Anytime, Corporate, Couples, or Student membership, you are eligible to use the Active Network scheme.*
Access is available at 17 different locations. For information on using other leisure centres within the Active Network scheme, please ask at Reception. Please note that Craven Leisure will leave the Active Network Partnership from 1st September 2025.
Your home site which would be St Peters or Padiham has to be used more than any other leisure centre within the scheme. A maximum of 8 sessions can be used at any other centre in the network per month (8 is the total across all visiting centres). If customers regularly exceed this number, they may asked to transfer their account to that home membership.

We don’t have a gym only membership, however gym is included in most of our memberships.
Please contact our Direct Debit partners Debit Finance Collections (DFC) on 01908 752 078 or via their website.
We have several membership options. Our most popular membership is our Anytime membership which includes unlimited use at both St Peter’s and Padiham Leisure Centres.
You can sign up to membership online or if you prefer, visit one of the centres, have a look around, and join up there.

We offer members the option to freeze their membership for up to 6 months for a small monthly fee of £5.00 for Direct Debit members and a one off £10 fee for Annual members. This will mean that you avoid paying joining fees and pro-rata fees when you’re ready to come back.
Please contact our Direct debit partners Debit Finance Collections (DFC) on 01908 752 078 or orvia their website, to freeze your Direct debit membership. Annual members can freeze membership at the leisure centre.
Terms and Conditions: 7 days notice required. Freeze can only be applied from your next payment date in whole months from a minimum of 1 month upto 6 months.
Excludes Golf Membership and Swimming Lesson Direct Debits
We are sorry to hear you wish to cancel your membership with us. Did you know that you can freeze your membership for up to 6 months for a small monthly fee of £5.00. This will mean that you avoid paying pro-rata fees when you’re ready to come back. We also have other membership options that may be more suited to your circumstances so why not consider changing to another membership.
To help us continually improve our service, any feedback you have regarding your membership experience would be appreciated or if you would like to speak to someone, we would be happy arrange a call.
HOW TO CANCEL YOUR MEMBERSHIP
Our Direct Debit memberships are now handled by an external organisation, Debit Finance Collections (DFC) therefore in order to freeze or cancel you will need to contact DFC on 01908 752 078 or via their website.
GIVING NOTICE TO CANCEL
DFC will continue to collect your monthly subscription after the Minimum Period. Should you not wish to continue subscribing after the Minimum Period, you must give notice to cancel the contract at least 1 calendar month before the final payment of the minimum period. If you wish to cancel the contract at any time after the Minimum Period, you must give at least 1 calendar months notice. The notice should be in writing via our cancellation portal.
We hope you change your mind. But if not, we would like to thank you for your custom and hope you have enjoyed the use of our facilities. Should your circumstances change, and you wish to re-join in the future, please do not hesitate to get in touch and don’t forget you can still use the centres on a pay as you go basis.
To sign up for any Direct Debit membership, you can do it online at home, or come down to our centre and ask the receptionist for assistance. For an annual membership, money/card payment can be taken over the till and set up at St Peter’s/ Padiham Leisure Centre through the receptionist.
Up to 14 years old a child can sign up to a Junior Membership. When they reach 14 years old they become their own independent member and have their own membership priced at £22 a month via Direct Debit. 22+ years old reach mature student.
