Direct Debit Collections
You can download and install the Burnley Leisure & Culture App via the Google Play Store or Apple Store.
You will need a Leisure Hub account to login into the App.
Choose your preferred venue then click on ‘Login/Register’ ; this will ask you for your Leisure Hub login details or to register a Leisure Hub account.
There are 2 options for registering a Leisure Hub account*:
- Create an account – Leisure Hub – Members & Pay as you go
- Create an account – Leisure Hub – New Pay as you go customers
*IMPORTANT: the email address that you use must match the same email address you used to register your membership/leisure card. If you have a couple’s membership, you will need an email address each to book online. Please contact the Leisure Centre to update your email address or email info@blcgroup.co.uk before registering.
You can reset your password by clicking on the ‘Forgot password?’ button on the main Leisure Hub login screen or welcome page on the App.

Pay and Play membership is required to book online. Pay and Play membership is a free membership that ensures you are charged the correct amount based on your age. You can add a Pay and Play membership via Leisure Hub > Membership Prices.
If your membership isn’t showing on ‘My Memberships’, you may have registered with different details, or there could be a duplicate record on our system; please contact info@blcgroup.co.uk to deactivate your account.
Pay and Play membership is required, which is a free membership that ensures you get charged the correct amount based on your age. Pay and Play is still needed for activities not included in memberships, such as badminton.

Outstanding payments
If you have any debts on your account, you will not be able to book online. Please check your account to see what the debt is for and arrange payment at the leisure centre. If the debt is an error and it needs removing, please contact info@blcgroup.co.uk
Membership not showing

Members are able to book 7 days in advance. The booking system will only allow you to book within these parameters.
You can access BLC Bonus Loyalty Club via the BLC App.
Excluding one-month members and 12-week Health Programme members.

We offer members the option to freeze their membership for up to 6 months for a small monthly fee of £5.00 for Direct Debit members and a one off £10 fee for Annual members. This will mean that you avoid paying joining fees and pro-rata fees when you’re ready to come back.
Please contact our direct debit partners Debit Finance Collections (DFC) on 01908 752 078 or online https://www.debitfinance.co.uk/customer-enquiry/ to freeze your direct debit membership. Annual members can freeze membership at the leisure centre by completing a form.
Terms and Conditions:
Most direct debit memberships can be temporarily frozen for a minimum of one month and maximum of six months. One month’s notice must be given in writing, and an administration fee of £5 per month is charged for this facility. Annual memberships can be frozen for up to six months for a one-off administration fee of £10. The exception is for golf membership and Swim Academy membership which can only be frozen for medical reasons at the discretion of management – a medical certificate may be requested. BLC Group reserves the right to withdraw from this facility at any time.
We offer carers our corporate carers link discount membership for £29 per month Direct Debit (3-month minimum continuous contract). Please visit one of our centres to join, proof of a carers link is required.
Carers Access
Carers are allowed to enter the facility free of charge when providing assistance to their client. This includes helping them navigate around the gym, being in the pool for those that need assistance with mobility and attending a class whereby physical support is required.
Should a carer wish to swim, participate in a class or do their own gym workout where it is clear they are not directly supporting their client, they will need to pay for this access. Payment options include carers corporate membership or a discounted pay as you go rate under Leisure Passport.
Passport to Leisure Membership, is a free annual membership available to customers on low income, this gives you a reduced rate for pay as you go access. We do not offer any further discounts on our monthly memberships.

The Passport to Leisure can be used at St Peter’s Leisure Centre, Church Street, Burnley BB11 2DL Tel: 01282 953444 or Padiham Leisure Centre, Park Road, Padiham BB12 8ED Tel: 01282 477222.
Passport to Leisure prices:
- Swimming £5.30 (Family Swim 2 adults & 2 children £14.00)
- Gym £7.50
- Group exercise class £7.00
- Health Suite £10.50

How to Apply:
Please show your completed Application Form (insert link to form) together with proof of your benefit entitlement, and proof of address such as a household utility bill or bank statement, to one of the centres above and our Reception team will be happy to process your application.
We understand missed payments can happen from time to time. However, if you fail to make a payment on time, you will incur the following charges:
- Fail to pay the subscription on the due date £15.00.
- Fail to pay the missed subscription within 7 days of the date of a reminder correspondence £30.00.
- Fail to pay the arrears and accrued charges within 7 days of the date of a Final Notice £45.00.

How to Cancel your membership

GIVING NOTICE TO CANCEL
DFC will continue to collect your monthly subscription after the Minimum Period. Should you not wish to continue subscribing after the Minimum Period, you must give notice to cancel the contract at least 1 calendar month before the final payment of the minimum period. If you wish to cancel the contract at any time after the Minimum Period, you must give at least 1 calendar months notice. The notice should be in writing via our cancellation portal.
